The Canary Staked INJ ETF is a proposed U.S.-based exchange-traded fund filed by Canary Capital that aims to provide both price exposure to Injective’s native token, INJ, and the benefits of staking rewards. Rather than simply holding INJ, the fund is designed to stake a portion of the tokens it holds through approved staking infrastructure, with rewards generated from blockchain validation activities being passed through to investors.
The fund structure involves a Delaware statutory trust, a common legal form used by ETFs and similar investment vehicles. Canary Capital submitted a registration statement (S-1) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), seeking official approval. The proposal is significant because it would be among the first regulated staked-crypto ETFs in the U.S., allowing investors to gain exposure to crypto staking in a familiar regulatory wrapper.
