Ripple co-founder is selling XRP at an accelerated pace

Jeb McCaleb, who left Ripple in 2013, holds ~7.3% of the total supply of XRP. Since August 2018, McCaleb has been selling more than 500,000 XRP per day — 35 times the limit outlined in his 2016 agreement with Ripple. McCaleb is currently the CTO and a co-founder of Stellar, a direct competitor of Ripple. (Source: WSJ)
