New York issues its 14th BitLicense to New York Digital Investment Group

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) just issued a BitLicense to New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG), enabling the company to offer "secure custody and trade execution services" for cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ether, XRP, and litecoin. To date, DFS has issued a total of 14 BitLicenses to companies including Square, Coinbase, and Gemini. (Source: New York State Department of Financial Services)
